La fĂȘte du Feu de la Saint-Jean: Centre d'art contemporain - la synagogue de Delme

For his exhibition << Voyages dans la mer perdue >> Matteo Rubbi invited me to invent some costumes based on the fantastical animals that the children created during workshops. These animals come from that wild undiscovered ancient world that lives in the imagination.

Exhibition: Matteo Rubbi : Voyages dans la mer perdue

The CAC - la Synagogue de Delme is pleased to announce its forthcoming exhibition:

VOYAGES DANS LA MER PERDUE
PERSONAL EXHIBITION OF MATTEO RUBBI

05.06.17 - 09.24.17

A lost sea and a raging sun are the two main characters of a story set in the commune of Delme. Matteo Rubbi was interested in the Saulnois region, and wanted to recreate it in its prehistoric version, when it was covered by a hot sea frequented by strange fish and birds. Voyages dans la mer perdue [Journeys in the Lost Sea] is an exhibition conceived and developed on-site at the CAC – Synagogue de Delme, through a series of workshops involving the local population. Dal Cielo Alle Strade.

Dal Cielo Alle Strade: Una parata svolazzante del quartiere Isola by  Ruggero Asnago with Teatro in scatola  and Isola Libri with the support of Isola Art Center.

This year for the 4th birthday of Isola Pepe Verde,  we organised a parade with majestical bird marionettes in the Isola neigbhourhood. The project is by artist Ruggero Asnago,  Elena from the local bookshop Isola Libri and I assisted him in the workshops held every weekend of April at Isola Pepe Verde. The workshops were open to the public - young and old.  It was a beautiful experience working with so many people and getting to know the children of the neighbourhood, and the parade? Well, that was just magical. Just look at the video and see for yourself. Let's do it again next year!
